The Toy Chronicle are always looking for ways to evolve, revolve & involve our readers. Allowing you guys to dictate what information you want to see on the TTC website. We have come up with a great idea to allow you to pose questions on the Designer Toy scene & we’ll provide answers to those all important questions!
We have rounded up thirteen creative minds, from the Designer Toy scene, that will offer their answers & insights on questions posed by you – The Toy Chronicle readers. As well as providing their thoughts on events surrounding the scene – such as KR closing stores left, right & centre as an example.
We’ve selected guys that have some great knowledge & experience of the scene. We want you to pick their brains and they’ll cut through all the bullshit and give you guys their insight in to the Designer Toy world and beyond. We suppose you’ll want to know who we have on board, right? Well, here you go…
Anna Mullin – Graphic Illustrator & Designer behind Sneaky Raccoon
Dan DMS – Resin Production King behind Skelevex. Also one half of Monster & Mecha
Dan Perry – Collector and owner of Fugi.me
Holly Glynn – Pink haired maestro behind A Little Stranger and Hey Cavey
James Freckingham – One man toy making machine behind Robotic Industries
Jonjo Glynn – One of the founders & organiser of ToyConUK
Jon-Paul Kaiser – Seventh Bearded Wonder of the World (also see artist: JPK)
Lee McSweeney & Jayne Goddard – Founders & owners of Collect & Display
Mike Strick – Sculptor & Modelmaker behind Sculpt.Strick
Neese Plush – Plush genius behind Raar. Also one half of Monster & Mecha
Rich Page – Eighth Bearded Wonder of the World (Also see: Ume Toys)
Sarah Miskelly – Cuteness creator behind Lunabee
How this will work: On a weekly basis, The Toy Chronicle will pick 2-3 questions and ask these to the guys, they will provide their feedback & answers and TTC will create a blog post, which your eyes can devour.
All we need now is questions to fire at these guys. This is where you come in!
We are looking for anything related to the Designer Toy scene. Any hot topics you’d like the guys to answer. Maybe you are a budding artist and you are constantly getting bubbles in your resin and want to know a way to stop this. Maybe you just want to know ‘Why always Huck Gee…’ or ‘What are your thoughts on bootlegging the shizzle out of an established production piece’.
Below you can submit your questions. Include your name & location too, so that we can include this in the post. Don’t fret if you’re question doesn’t appear straight away, we’ll be randomly selecting questions each week. So if yours doesn’t appear one week, it will appear in the following weeks.
So fire away… what be your question…
