Bruised & Bitten a show with ‪Luke Chueh‬ and JRyu at Wrong Gallery Taipei

Taipei Toy Festival has already kicked off but, a VERY big but across from TTF artist Luke Chueh‬ and  J★RYU are having their very own exhibition at the Wrong Gallery Taipei. Luke will have paintings and a huge It Takes More Than A Jumpsuit sculpture made by the folks at VTSS along with a painting to go with it.

“It Takes More Than A Jumpsuit (and A Pair of Nunchucks) [Revisited]”. Created for my upcoming show with Wrong Gallery Taipei. The painting is based on the 4ft sculpture we made of this character. The painting is a commentary on facades, and how looking the part and playing the part are two separate issues”

J★RYU first showcased his Pocket Vampires at the Shanghi convention earlier this year, which you can read about it HERE. J★RYU had added many more of his favoutie foods to the Pocket vampires! a total of a spooky 49 custom ‪Pokket Vampires‬ featuring 49 different foods from around the world. YUM…. well not really edible. “This is my new series of figures that will be released soon based on the mythology of Chinese vampires, aka Jiangshi.

After hundreds of years, the Pokket Vampires have awoken from their deep slumber to the smells of the world’s most delicious foods! No longer happy drinking gross blood they now hop around the world in search of tasty treats to satiate their infernal cravings. Join Master Chef Dashi in his efforts to capture them all before all the delectable NOMNOMS are eaten up! Save all the foods! 
This first one is Egg Tart who loves to eat dim sum and pastries.”
