Tomorrow night the Carnival’s Toybox is coming to London, and The Toy Chronicle (along with our favourite Uncle Absinthe) will be there to welcome it into town! Curated by brand-B Masks & Oddities and held at the indie art hub Orbital Comics in London West End the exhibition takes quite a wide look at what is considered toy art. Though a lot of the art consists of original figures, some artists have submitted customized figures, to custom clothing for figures and even flat art inspired by toys and toy art. Keeping a wide approach to the work on display will make this a very interesting exhibition. Let’s take a look at some of the art that will be available at the Carnival’s Toybox…
Featuring artists: Billy Houston, Morgan Seiler, Azrael Darknut, Steve Moffat, Laura Penn, Shane Conway, Fredrick Törnqvist, Daz Hyland, Gunnar Gerhardt, Stklbck, Brad Rumble, Jaykblu & Dan Brownlie.
