Troubling the Beam Custom Blueberry by Ricstroh!

Taking on the powers of the Blueberry by Yury Ustsinau, Ricstroh is one of only a few artists that have attempted (as far as we know) the customisation of this extravagant platform in over five years since its release. Standing at 10inches tall, this elegant design by Yury seduces the eyes with the curves of the vinyl. Ricstroh

Ricstroh started giving the platform smooth colour transitions and distinctive patterning.

During his time in quarantine Ricstroh has been listening to a lot of audiobooks, mostly Stephen King. Some of King’s characters: Rose the Hat, It, and swarms of the undead drove Rick for inspiration.

The use of neon colours is limited in this piece. Ricstroh wanted to create horizontal movement exclusively underblack light and accomplished this by being incredibly selective in its placement.

Troubling the Beam will be available tomorrow (Friday 24th July) from Ricstroh’s online store HERE. This is a one-of-a-kind custom and will be priced at $450+shipping.
