Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? We don’t know but when Jon Paul Kaiser gets hold of GOIN’s x Mighty Jaxx Bad Apple sculpture it usually means an EPIC adaptation. JPK presents to you his custom Bad Apple! Two Sides To Every Story Bad Apple By Jon Paul Kaiser. It’s not JPK’s first impressive custom Bad Apple but definitely his first for 2017.
The collector has commissioned JPK to customise one. Great choice in the artist to customise one and I’m sure collectors will be knocking on JPK’s door after seeing this custom. So how did it turn out? F-ing EPIC! We all know by now JPK customs are great but never imagined another version of the Bad Apple. SEE guys! JPK can use other colours than just black and white, Ha. 2017 he’s invested in a post of blue.
Look closer and her tattoos tell stories, the more you stare the more you’ll see. From the Mandala Lace on her forehead to her tattoos peeking out from her gloves.
Like we said before, we love the way JPK has been painting the hair as seen in the past few customs we’ve seen from JPK that includes hair. Using the grey and white tones to go with the flow of the hair make it look more three dimensional. JPK once again masters his Noir shadowing throughout this fine custom and defines that he’s still one of the top artist/customisers in the scene right now.
Designer Toy Award 2013 (best Resin) GOIN x Mighty Jaxx Bad Apple is still one of my personal holy grails and we could totally see JPK and GOIN make a collaboration piece.
