This one caught all kaiju fans off guard. Bandai Premium announced a long awaited figure, we’re talking Gaira here, the evil son of Frankenstein who first appeared in the movie The War of the Gargantuas from 1966 produced by Toho;
This Gargantua stands just about 7 inches tall and looks impressive. The amount of sculpt detail on the soft vinyl piece is on point;

Can this possibly mean that a new line of monsters is coming from Bandai Premium? Let’s hope so we sure wouldn’t mind to see Gaira’s counterpart Sanda making an appearance.
That being said this figure is available only on Japan via Bandai Premium HERE for 3,999 yen (28GPB, 36 USD). If you leave in Japan don’t miss it, if you don’t find someone who does or a forwarding service.
