TTC has a soft spot for a little designer plush, so this time we head over to France to take a look at Anne-Marie Verron works. Anne creates one-of-a-kind bears under the name “L’ours tombés des étoiles” (the bear fallen from the stars, in French). She sculpts mohair and alpaca with scissors, her bears are articulated. She chose to create contemporary bears and their expression is the most important part of her work. She often get comments about the sad look in her bears’ eyes, people tell her that they seem alive and that they have a soul of their own. She is a member of Artist Workshops of France. Those eyes are truly adorable.
