Back in 2011, way before The Toy Chronicle was a twinkle in our eyes, Otto Bjornik created the most outstanding set of Custom Kidrobot Dunny. A whole set of chess pieces, and by god damn they were beautiful. From our sources at Black Spot, it looks like these have now been promoted to a production release.
No official word on these from either Bjornik nor Kidrobot, but these would be an awesome move by both to bring these to a wider market. We are very excited to hear more. Black Spot have the full Bjornik ‘Shah Mat’ 3inch Dunny Chess set available for pre-order for 499euro/£379 HERE. This will guarantee you the full set of 32 Dunny. Just a little over £11 per Dunny. Great value for an amazing set. Would love to see some of these characters in 8inch or even the new Kidrobot 5inch sizes too. Bjornik is an awesome artists, and fully deserves this. ETA around the end of August 2016, we’ll keep you posted.
