This Saturday was the opening of Assemblages, a group exhibition hosted by Giant Robot featuring Taehoon Kim, Taylor Lee, Arthur Fong and Flat Bonnie.
You may have seen the work of Flat Bonnie on TTC before: adorable flat plushies that are made to help raise awareness of abandoned animals and the importance of adopting. A lot of the plushies are bunnies and every month a portion of the sales is donated to bunny and other animal rescue organizations.
For Assemblages, Flat Bonnie created a wide range of flat plushies with a tiki-swamp party theme including the giant sized Momo the Anxious Axolotl, Baby Axolotls and Mr. Kaiware Sprout. Look at those adorable faces!
Smaller pieces include Dobichan and his sister, cactus plushies and many more cuties.
They can be purchased directly at the gallery and remaining pieces will be available for sale this week at www.giantrobot.com.
You can find Flat Bonnie at Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Etsy.
