USA artist Andrea Kang takes the center stage with this collaboration with UK based company Momiji. Momiji are ticking all our boxes right now with their artist they are choosing to work with. The last release with Bubi-au-yeung made the collectors go wild, now Andrea Kang will do the same with her design of Gomi.
“Gomi, a girl who wants nothing more than to be like her spirit animal, the bear”
Andrea’s minimalistic and cute style is one style we love so hand in hand working with Momiji is a blessing for collectors.
“Illustrator Andrea Kang creates a fanciful world filled with girls, bears, and creatures. She explores nostalgia and the blurred lines between dreams, reality and memories. Andrea created Gomi for Momiji, a little girl who wants to be more like her spirit animal, a bear.”
What are Momiji Dolls?
Momiji are hand-painted resin message dolls. Turn them upside down… inside every one there’s a tiny folded card for your own secret message.
Momiji are approx 8cm (3in) tall.
Packaging is an important part of a momiji doll; it tells you about their character and their favourite things.
Momiji and Andrea Kang match made in heaven? We think so… another one to add to the collection. We do wonder who is next to do a collaboration.
