Good ol’ Super7, getting us all excited for San Diego Comic Con weekend! They announced this week that they will be teaming up with Peanuts to release a number of new Charlie Brown & Snoopy ReAction & vinyl figures later this month, and it has already got a lot of the Designer Toy world talking! Lets check out what they plan to release…
As part of the SDCC festivities, Super7 will be hosting a Good Grief Super7 x Peanuts popup gift shop at their Super7 San Diego store (701 Eighth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101). Releasing Friday through Sunday July 19-21, will be an original Good Ol’ Charlie Brown 3.75inch ReAction Figure as he first appeared in 1950 newspaper strip (pictured above).
Standing side by side with the Good Ol’ Charlie Brown figure is a 16inch Snoopy vinyl release, complete with fabric shirt plus removable Charlie Brown Mask taken from the 1953 strip (pictured below).
Alongside the Charlie Brown, and the Snoopy vinyl release, Super7 will also have a series of Super7 x Peanuts 3.75inch ReAction figures including Cowboy Charlie Brown, Racoon Hat Snoopy, PJ Sally, Baseball Schroeder, Pirate Linus and Winter Lucy (pictured below). There will also be a range of perfectly unexpected, limited edition apparel and other accessories like puzzles, enamel pins, glassware, puffy stickers and more.
Growing up, Peanuts was my dad’s favourite, and from the time I could read he gave me his childhood Peanuts books, and the love of it is something we have shared ever since.
