The forward march continues as Jon-Paul Kaiser pushes forward in raising the bar with his customs and OOAK commissions. A few weeks ago JPK’s Sturnbrau Vs The Kraken left us speechless and now “Judgement Rides to War” has done the same. Over the past few days, you’ve all seen the work in progress shots via’ JPK’s social media in no way did we think it would end up like THIS! Someone pick our jaws off the floor, please.
JPK revisits the orignail figure 2015 “the Judges” and completes the overall look of Judgement Rides to War. Need an example of someone rasing the bar, here you go.

Till this day we are still amazed how JPK can add so much depth with his Noir style shadowing. Those skin creases, to die for. The colour choices giving just enough colour too especially on the tribal war paint. The closer you look the more simple yet effective details like the tips of the elephants’ ears and the deep eyes and not forgetting skin surrounding the tusks.
Judgement Rides to War intertwining his signature lines and noir shadowing into something that could stroll into The Game of Thrones! ONE EPIC hand sculpted piece from the big man himself. The story is comprised of four different pieces; each represents different qualities and bringing them together completes a story. We beg for an encore.
If you’re like us and you want something this fabulous, you can get in contact with JPK via Email to get on to his commission list as he has 1 more space left for December. Tell him The Toy Chronicle sent you 🙂 Don’t forget to check out JPK on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
The photography, as per tradition, is by Justin Allfree – another great job and well worth a follow on Twitter!
