This weekend will see Javier release a wide range of art collectibles and one of them is the return of the all-new Kaiju Dorobanii! Look how mischievous Dorobanii looks, HA. Javier has included a secret and exclusive trading card with Kaiju Dorobanii too.
A new kaiju roams the city, unleashing chaos and destruction…but just in Dorobanii’s dreams, really. This is only how Dorobanii saw himself in a dream one night after falling asleep watching a kaiju movie.
Both Classic style and C-Thru Kaiju Dorobanii will be available on Sunday!
The classic colorway is inspired by the crazy color combinations applied to sofubi in the 70s.
The C-Thru version has very bright colors and is translucent. Reminds me Javier of Teracrystallized from Pokémon in some way. BUT WAIT there are MORE, Meet Shishi, the newest critter to join the StickUp Monsters universe! Year of the Rabbit Dorobanii! Plus the GID Maneki Wananeko!

Shishimai
Meet Shishi, the newest critter to join the StickUp Monsters universe!
On new years eve, the lion dance “shishimai” is performed at festivals in Japan. Shishi is a lion costume that was abandoned by monks in an old shrine and invaded by evil spirits. Now it lurks in the temple and wanders the surrounding forests in search of the souls of lost travelers to eat.
