So yesterday we brought you the release details of the KAWS Blue MoMA Exclusive BFF vinyl figure and promised you details of when the Black BFF would be dropping. Well, we kinda have some details now that we can share with you. According to Hypebeast, the Black BFF by KAWS will drop tomorrow (Wednesday 18th Oct) over on the kawsone.com site!
Priced at $280 (£212) we understand that these are again OPEN EDITION! Meaning, #fuckflippers! If you really want to add the BFF Companions to your KAWS collection, and you miss out tomorrow. Be patient. Don’t head to eBay. Don’t listen to those that are saying these are limited edition. Much like we saw with the Open Edition Companions this year, there have been more than enough to go around. Most sites still have them available for sale. Patience is the key.
Dropping at 12pm ET, which is 5pm UK time.
We don’t have a time of release yet, only the date. We are hearing rumours that it could be early release ET. So 8-9am ET. Which is 1-2pm in the UK. You’ll defo have your F5 finger ready throughout the day tomorrow, but no doubt the site will crash with the thousands that want to snag this drop.

Let’s not forget that the KAWS Blue BFF which is exclusive to MoMA also drops tomorrow too. You’ll only be able to snag these at the MoMA online store HERE or at select MoMA Design Stores in NYC. Again, we are led to believe that the Blue BFF are OPEN EDITION too, but only purchasable via MoMA.
