KAWS revealed earlier this afternoon that he will have a new sculpture as part of his upcoming BLACKOUT Gallery show at Skarstedt in London next month! With the potential for a new vinyl Designer Toy release too, who will be heading to London next month?
With the opening of BLACKOUT taking place in London on Tuesday 1st October (through to 9th November), we are eagerly anticipating more news as we get closer to the opening. With KAWS teasing the new sculpture (pictured above), the hype will continue to grow. This new sculpture looks to be in similar vein to the GONE figure that will be available at the KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness in Australia later this month, except this time the BFF is embracing the Companion rather than vice versa.
There will also be a new paintings too at the show (pictured below). We will bring you more details if/when they are known, but for now stick 1st Oct in your calendar and we hope to see you there.
