Two French power houses join forces, Peugeot the car manufacture’s Design Lab team and Artoys made a project come alive. This series developed with PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB, in partnership toy maker ARTOYZ. In 2012, a first exclusive series of 10 lion Art Toys was dreamt up by the PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB designers, drawing inspiration from the brand’s emblem and the Onyx trio: car, bicycle and scooter. These unique creations were exhibited at PEUGEOT Avenue Paris over Christmas 2012.
On the strength of the success of this first series, PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB embarked on the creation of an exclusive and limited series of PEUGEOT Art Toys.

LEO’Z: artists inspired by the PEUGEOT emblem
PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB, in its constant quest for new domains, embarked on this contemporary challenge to create a series of 12 lions, 6 of which were designed by internationally renowned artists: Huck Gee (UK), 64 Colors (USA), Bunka (France), DGPH (Argentina), Tikka NG (Hong Kong), Koralie (France), and the other 6 by the PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB designers: Claire Panel (France), Thomas Josson (France), Damian O’ Hara (Ireland), Hossein Borojeni (France), Flora Tai & Guillaume Daniel (France).
14 to collect and not blind boxed so you get to choose which designs you want.
Each Art Toy is the fruit of an artistic process, involving lengthy and painstaking work, drawing inspiration from worlds as diverse as contemporary art, poetry, chemistry, origami, architecture, fashion…These unique objects have adopted the design of the brand’s lion soft toy mascot created by Christophe Pialat (France),

Léo’z Art toys are only sold at PEUGEOT Avenue Paris for now at the price of for €11. Fingers crossed they will be available on line soon and not just at Peugeot.
