Meltdown – Guilty Pleasure depicts the iconic paw! as a quadruple-layer cake stuffed with syrups and creams that must be eaten quickly before they melt away. The past year has been a time of reflection and contemplation for paw!, and in the process, he has discovered another side of himself. Even though his tough exterior remains the same, inside he has become softer and kinder. His newfound tenderness is bursting out of him, and he can’t contain it any longer.
This 18’’ vinyl bust comes in two unique editions. paw!’s False Paradise [limited to 349 pieces] will satisfy your sweet tooth with four layers of California sunset dough and cream made from the finest paw! nilla beans we could find. paw!’s Midnight Snack [limited to 349 pieces] finds paw! filled with metal-grey chocolate food dye, drenched in blueberry and paw! nana syrups, and designed with the colours of noop’s past Meltowns in mind. Both editions are baked with 100% coarse-grain sugar.
Each sculpture includes one paw! bust smothered with cream fillings. The baker has drizzled a spectacle of mochi cubes, candy loops, and rainbow sprinkles all over, turning paw! into a sugar-coated treat. One perfectly round cherry rests atop paw!’s head to remind eaters that even though paw! might be the most merciless creatures on his home planet of the Elastomer, there is no need to be afraid of him anymore.
Even the toughest souls have a sweet side.

Tim Raue
In celebration of our friend Tim Raue’s #31 spot on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, we are thrilled to announce Meltdown – coarse x Restaurant Tim Raue [noop’s False Paradise].
Tim grew up in West Germany in the shadows of the Berlin Wall, and when we last saw him he spoke about his disdain for the DDR’s sad, gray spirit. In contrast, he is drawn to bold colors and rebellious personalities, and in collaborating on this edition we wanted to create a vibrant and dynamic Meltdown that East Germany would have tried to censor. Designed to blend in with Restaurant Tim Raue’s sophisticated, urban ambience, the explosion of colors in this edition reflects the passion in Tim’s renowned dishes. Tim’s cooking and our sculpting are always striving for precision and impeccable attention to detail, and we are honored to have collaborated on this sculpture with him.
Tim Raue is a two-star Michelin chef you may have seen on Netflix’s Chef’s Table where he is the only German chef to have been featured. Meltdown – coarse x Restaurant Tim Raue [noop’s false paradise] will be exclusively available at coarse.shop and to guests of Restaurant Tim Raue.
