As it happens, this design almost never came to be. I had my submissions ready to go but at the last minute was inspired to do one last one. Whereas the others were more literal in regards to the the theme, this one was a little different. I find Egyptian mythology fascinating, and while I knew Anubis was the god of death, it wasn’t until I did a little research that I found he is also the god of embalming. Seeing as he is actually responsible for exquisite corpses, I thought he would be fitting. Plus, Egyptian gods look cool!

The new Exquisite Corpse series from Kidrobot is going to be hands-on too. Each new 3inch Dunny will have the ability to be disassembled and reassembled with other Dunny in the series. Swap their heads, arms, legs, bodies etc to your hearts content.
And we found out last week that the Dunny in this series will be held together by MAGNETS! As shown in the video shared by Exquisite Corpse artist, RunDMB, which you can check out below…

An art toy collective of like-minded artists and designers from around the globe. From Igor Ventura, Sergio Mancini to Quiccs, RunDMB, MAp-MAp and Chauskoskis plus several more talented folks!
