Here we have it! Nibble and Root By PLAY HOUSE x COARSE release info! 2016 nearly coming to an end and PLAY HOUSE x COARSE will be ending the year with the adorable Nibble and Root that we’ve been seeing over recent months. We were lucky enough to see the prototypes at Thailand Toy Expo earlier this year and we fell in love with Nibble and Root.

These two figures tell the story of a love that has gone too far.
Nibble loves Root so much but has no idea how much pain Root feels.
Nibble carries Root around all day and night, so happy that they have found each other,
But Root lives in fear, wondering what will happen if Nibble’s love gets any stronger.

Nibble loves Root,

And Root loved Nibble,
Until Nibble took a bite.
We have a little footage, taken from the Coarse booth, which you can view below. We’re loving the cute Nibble & Root, but perhaps our love is taken with the wee terrified carrot. Whilst the Nibble & Root displayed were made from resin, we understand that the future release by Playhouse will be a 100% vinyl release.
We know that this Coarse ‘release’ won’t be to everyone’s taste – and that’s ok, you don’t have to like everything – but we get where this release is coming from. Playhouse have been working with Coarse over the course of the last year on Nibble & Root, and whilst this is produced by Coarse it is essentially a Playhouse release. Which kinda goes with the Playhouse brand, more than a normal ‘darker’ release by Coarse.
Play House in collaboration with coarse will release the first figure of their Friend Feast series. Nibble and Root—a love-struck rabbit and a frightened carrot—tells the story of a love that has gone too far. Nibble loves Root so much but has no idea how much pain Root feels. Nibble carries Root around all day and night, so happy that they have found each other, but Root lives in fear, afraid of what will happen if Nibble’s love gets any stronger.
