New Zealand based artist Brad Donovan first solo exhibition in Hong Kong at ” No Idea Gallery ” is underway and the theme of the exhibition is “Green Fingers”, Brad’s way of expressing his nostalgia for the good times that happened in his garden and lawn. “Gardens are a sacred place for some. Big or small, time spent in any garden is never time lost.
I was fortunate to grow up with expansive gardens, trees and lawns. All of which provide so much to a person, but equally require a lot of care in return. Much like painting, individual time spent and a labour of love can produce tremendous results that can be enjoyed by many.”

For his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, Brad created about 18 unique paintings and a limited edition sculpture called “Tony”.
