If you attended the inaugural Five Points last year, I’m sure you’ll agree that one of the highlights was the Gary Ham x Brutherford Industries booth. Where you would have found Mr Rutherford with his rotocaster, pictured below in his trusty red jumpsuit, churning out Gary Ham’s Logan Tree Stump (still available to purchase HERE btw). Not only did you get to see the process of this wonderful Designer Toy get made, you could take Logan home afterwards. A great concept, no doubt about it. But will we see it return in 2018… well, read below for more details…
Due to Ryan’s busy workload, he didn’t think he’d be able to repeat this fantastic 2017 feat, so he has outsourced the project to some his students from his toy design class. They came up with their own concept and will be at Five Points, alongside Ryan & his rotocaster. They’ll be the one working and running demos. Their concept? Otto! Otto the dog. Otto will be manufactured before your very eyes, and ready to purchase & take home too. Go check out Booth #528 for all the Otto ballsy goodness!
