After flicking through Woes Instagram page he teased us with the work in progress of bad ass pop up page with his latest collaboration with the guys at Poposition. From what I have seen already it looks absolutely fantastic and the guys at Proposition have given all the artists involved an extra dimension! I personally cannot wait to see the fully finished book with all that glorious art work.

Poposition are currently working on paper engineering and design for The Pop Up Art Book, which will feature 6 visual artists in a limited edition popup book. The book will have a mass produced edition (with the run TBD) as well as handmade artist editions featuring special second pages only found in those editions.
The Pop Up Art Book, a first of its kind art book featuring contemporary artists’ work displayed in a dimensional pop up format. The Pop Up Art Book brings together some of the most creative minds from street art, comic books, illustration, fine art and other mediums in a new dimensional print format. The artists involved in the book include: Angry Woebots, Jim Mahfood, Junko Mizuno, kozyndan, Skinner and Tara McPherson.

Two pieces of artwork from each artist are being deconstructed and transformed into pop up spreads, for two different editions of the book. The normal edition of The Pop Up Art Book will contain six pop up pages, one from each artist. In addition, each artist will have a deluxe artist edition book that is signed and numbered by the artist and contains their second pop up page.

The Pop Up Art Book is close to launching The Pop Up Art Book on Kickstarter! You’ll be able to pre-order a copy of the book there, and also get an Early Backer reward discounts too!
They are also making super limited edition Artist Edition Books that feature a rare second popup page we’re designing with each of the artists in the book will also be available through our Kickstarter campaign.
There will only be ten copies of each Artist Edition Book made. So if you’re a super fan of one of the artists in the book and want their signed rare pop up page be sure to check out our campaign when we launch and snag your copy! These pages are about halfway done and they be updating poposition social media accounts with new progress shots as the Kickstarter campaign goes on.
