In a matter of days, the unforgettable three-day celebration of all things pop culture is back! Reed POP’s MCM Comic Con in London is ready to open the floodgates this Weekend! Don’t miss the chance to meet your anime, TV and film stars, the joy of browsing art from independent creators, the freedom to be yourself, and all the special little moments you don’t get anywhere else. We were lucky to be at the MCM comic con back in May and it was a blast! Armed with a press pass, (Thank you MCM) we went on a hunt for artists that we haven’t covered as well as the hope to find as much designer Toys as possible while enjoying the Comic-Con surroundings with cosplay.
Speaking to vendors, personally I was overwhelmed by the sea of people but in a good way. Plenty of cosplay and…… FUNKO and plush. In true Comic-Con fashion, what’s a Comic-con without Star Wars, Doctor Who, and memorabilia? MCM Comic Con London was a completely different beast compared to Birmingham, a HUGE REAGE of goodies. Live stage, gaming, and workshops keep people entertained and axe-throwing!
Back in May POP MART even had limited releases like the exhibition HIRONO and THIS WEEKEND which will have MORE exclusivis and limited edition releases along with endless amounts of BLIND BOX gooness. I wonder if I will find more Fools Paradise this weekend? if you are into blind box collectibles. Blind Box Empire has various ranges from Asia from Finding Unicorn to authorized ToyZero Plus LuLu, Smiski, Sonny Angels, Sanrio, Gatcha, SML, Unbox Industries, TOP TOY, Moetech Ban Bana, MONDAY BRUCE and more. Our buddies at Collect n Display will be there this weekend too and with a wide range of collectibles plus some hidden gems to be discovered! Our firends a Mighty Jaxx return with a huge booth of art collectibles with a wide range on offer. Love Kawaii stuff check out Artbox they have a wonderful booth and full of plush and all things kawaii! Discovering artists and independent brands was the icing on the cake, artists like Animeink, Fuzzballs, Raccoonkun, Little finger Chris Duncan, Cindacry Indigo Abbie Art, Chao Illustrations, Spirutts and many others caught our eye. Anyway, less rambling below is a little taste of what caught my eye back in May and hopefully see you this weekend!
Below is a little teasers of what to expect this weekend!
