Back in 2015 we featured Thailand artist Recycle C insane Ruk yom, the crowds went wild for his creations. A few more weeks left till Thailand Toy Expo 2016 and it seems like Recycle C might be preparing a TTE onslaught once again. Luckily The Toy Chronicle will be at TTE to finally check these two up close if they are heading to TTE.
His characters are certainly something that you can connect with, the god like figure but certainly creepy but we love it. The Characters are based on a supernatural Thai culture which makes us love them even more, as they have a story behind them. Expect the same quality in the finish and next level packaging as the OG release.
Ruk yom, direct translated it means “Love oneself” one piece is called Ruk, the other Yom, Ruk is love, Yom is like when a monk calls anyone, When a monk greets you, he will call u yom, It’s a Thai thing.
