Tomenosuke is really excited to see the first release of a Tomenosuke Exclusive toy in a long time. The creator is Cory Privitera, who is acting under the name Science Patrol. He is a young person of note who is active as a toy designer and producer in Tokyo while working at the Sofubi factory. This came to me via my old friend Ash. Cory’s career is as follows.” The highly sought after soft vinyl figure Shakokitachi by Science Patrol will be available once more in this special edition Tomenosuke EXCLUSIVE.
Cory Privitera (Science Patrol) is a Tokyo-based toy designer, producer, and Japanese soft vinyl factory worker. Since 2014 Cory has worked as wax prototyper and has produced dozens of projects for clients all over the world.In 2016, in addition to continuous waxwork and personal toy projects, Cory started working part-time at Maruyama Toy producing Japanese soft vinyl firsthand. In the future, Cory hopes to open his own factory to handle existing and future client.
Science Patrol specializes in their own line of affordable Japanese soft vinyl toys and has released over 40 different characters including various yokai, monsters, animals, and artifacts as well as bird with lips, a larva with the face of a Japanese game developer, and a Pomeranian with a elephant-like trunk that absolutely no one on this earth wanted to buy.

The first is the Tomenosuke Exclusive Shakokitachi. With the motif of snow goggle dogu figures from the Jomon period (BC3000 – BC100), one eye, two eyes and three eyes are palm-sized with a height of 105 to 120 mm, and wear cute and mysterious expressions. This is a Tomenosuke Exclusive model. They are the first in the series to use a spray mask on a dark blue-green colour with metallic glitter added, creating a beautiful, luxurious version with gold accents.
Tomenosuke Exclusive Shakokitachi by Science Patrol will be launched 23:59 on October 31 (JST) at Tomenosuke international.
