Had to keep this tight-lipped, but now we can finally show you guys THIS! Super Sun Sun by Kaiju One! Our trip to Hong Kong’s Vintage Vinyl Club gave us a sneak peek at what Kaiju One has been brewing up and looking to shake up the soft vinyl as they introduce their take on Journey to the West, Monkey King! More like a Shogun Monkey to be exact. Mixing mythical and traditions with added urban feel to it and a hint of humour, Ha.
Gotta love the interchangeable hands! The points of articulation for a soft vinyl is quite clever and hopefully, it will withstand the wear and tear from swapping parts around. Still, in its prototype stages, we have to say it’s looking great and we wouldn’t like to piss “Super Sun Sun” off.
