Stanley Kubrick fanatic CodecZombie has given fellow fans something to talk about and own! Inspired by one of the main characters from Stanley Kubrick’s movie “THE SHINING”, here’s a tribute bootleg to Tony (Danny’s imaginary friend) in his peculiar aspect. The design on the backing card recalls some of the movie’s features, such as the black and yellow logo created by Saul Bass for the movie, and other movie references here and there.
It will be available in two colourways:
REGULAR (airbrush painted in pink with red sleeve) – 50 pieces numbered and signed.
ULTRALIMITED (brush painted in yellow and black to perfectly match the cardboard backing design) – 15 pieces numbered and signed.
TONY – bootleg format, 15x23cm cardboard backing size, “Tony” is 11cm tall, casted in 70gr of resin.
Everything is handmade, from the cardboard backing to the thermoformed custom blister.
As each piece is crafted and painted manually, they all carry their own peculiar differences, making them unique.
