First of all, bring a fan of McBess I had to personally add the original “TUBULAR BABE” last year. My exact words were OMFG! Mc Bess blesses our Sunday with the anticipated return to the scene with TUBULAR BABE. McBess – The Half Mermaid and McBess Les Viandarde totally shook the scene back in the day. TUBULAR BABE has all the hallmarks of Mc Bess and should have collectors of old and new drool over this art collectible. BUT when it arrived like many other collectors, it was disappointing with the quality, and mine like many other collectors broke in transit! ( still waiting for replacement) Could this be a poor choice of quality resin and clamshell packaging not even mentioning the paint and print on TUBULAR BABE tattoos. Definitely, lessons are to be learned for the McBess x The Dudes crew and it isn’t easy to self-produced that’s for sure.
Two days ago, McBess announced the pre-order of the “fresh & flash” TUBULAR BABES! in classic MCBEss style, and boy I was hesitant on blogging about the release since the bad experience. But the fanboy in me had too, HA. Plus the McBess team announced acknowledgment of the problems that will be rectified. For me personally, I wished McBess release these black versions before the original color edition as that’s what most McBess fans wanted. Now the question is, do I order the black?
