We always appreciate artists posting their ‘what could have been’ images of potential production releases. That is exactly what Andrew Bell has done, over on his Instagram earlier this evening. He posted the below image of two new Pyramidun 3inch Kidrobot Dunny releases. Well, when we say releases – they never made it from paper to production, but that certainly doesn’t mean it’ll never happen. Who knows what Kidrobot have up their sleeves in the future.
If you cast your mind back to 2013, you’ll remember the original two Pyramidun releases from Andrew Bell and Kidrobot (we’ve included a pic of the two together below). We really loved this release, and the two sit together at TTC HQ. If you recall the pyramid heads had three different sections that allowed you to create nine different faces for this Dunny. What do you guys think of the above design? Would you be interested in a future new Pyramidun release from Andrew Bell (or other artists for that matter) from Kidrobot?
