Back in August, our dear friend Amber Cunningham went to visit POP MART flagship store (check the video below) and we spotted the beautiful art by Xiaoou Jia of Keme life. Fairy tales of Xiaoou Jia’s Girls with enchanted animals we wanted to follow the journey.
In the West it has been a struggle to own Xiaoou Jia art let alone the all new up coming Lite editions which are much smaller but in-keeping with the enchanted look.
Hopefully some Westen retailers will be able to get hold of them. We reached out to Lillian Lu of 19八3 toys and Lillian quoted online and in store at 1983 will be stocking the “Lite” editions and maybe have the OG editions back in stock at some point.
