1. Location
We are a UK online based store, operating out of London, United Kingdom. I am a one-man team operating on the TTC Shop side of The Toy Chronicle. I manage all online orders, all in-store orders, marketing, importing of new products etc. Sometimes things are a little slower than I would like, as I am managing multiple items at once. I strive to respond to all orders & emails as soon as I possibly can. I thank you for your patience, support & your love. Thanks.

2. Shipping
All items purchased are shipped with Tracked & Insured shipment methods. This is done via Royal Mail. We are happy to discuss other options, and can be emailed at customerservice@thetoychronicle.com to discuss. Whilst our focus is on the UK market, we do ship WORLDWIDE.

3. Insurance
Additional shipping insurance can be added for as little as £0.79 ($1) via our partner, Route. This will ensure that any broken items or lost shipments are FULLY covered. If the item is still in stock a new item will be shipped to you, if the product is sold out, a full refund will be provided. If you do not take out the Route insurance, you forgo any refund if your shipment arrives broken or does not arrive.

4. Delivery Times
It is possible that some of the products we sell are in transit from artists/companies, these are often coming from overseas and have to go through customs before they get to TTC HQ. This can have a negative impact on delivery times. We keep track of shipments to us, so that we can keep you informed of any delays. We will always do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. 

5. Pre-orders
Some of the products that we sell on the TTC Shop are pre-orders. We try to include as much information on when your item will be despatched. If you have ordered multiple items, we will generally hold your items until the pre-order arrives – so we can ship everything together. If you would like items to be shipped individually, please email us at customerservice@thetoychronicle.com to discuss. We are unable to cancel pre-order items.

6. Cancellations
As mentioned in #6 we do not offer cancellations on pre-order items. If your item is in stock and you decide to cancel after placing your order, we can refund you but we are unable to refund you the full amount – Paypal does not give back any fees that they have taken on the order, so we are unable to refund the Paypal fee when part of a cancellation.

7. Returns
We do not accept returns, unless the item you purchased arrives broken. Please reach out to us via email at customerservice@thetoychronicle.com to discuss options, if you order arrives broken.

8. Payment
Our current preferred method of payment is via Paypal. You do not need to own a Paypal account, as you can pay using your Credit/Debit card via Paypal during checkout. This gives you the security that is required from making online purchases, and also secures The Toy Chronicle too. We have also added Stripe, Alipay, Stripe Checkout to our Payment Methods too, in case Paypal wasn’t your thing. In December 2020, we have now added Klarna to our payment methods, to allow customers to purchase products from the TTC Shop and pay in various longer term methods (pay in 14 days, pay in multiple payments etc).
