TTC Photography Highlight is back! In this section I personally try to highlight the toy photography to the whole world. Revealing the talent across the globe and my personal favourite photographers using vinyl designer art toys in their photography. The Toy Chronicle Toy Photography Highlight presents Windy’s Toy Box.
I’ve known Windy from the early days of Instagram Toy photography community, back when you couldn’t even @ or get a notification when a fellow user commented on a photo. The magic of Instagram brought us together and toy photography groups like ToyCrewBuddies, ToyRevolution, ToyGraphyId and ToyHumor were at there peak getting photographers together in joining daily and weekly competitions.
Back then Windy was using phone only photos for most of her photos and still the styling and ideas we pretty cool. Mixing general toys with designer vinyl toys (art toys, art collectables) together or whatever you want to call them.
Windy didn’t use any software to edit her photos early on, maybe just a few basic Instagram filters, that was the magic, keeping it simple.
As years go by Windy slowly transitioned into using a DSLR and having fun with her diorama’s making playful scenes while showing off her growing collection. Gifting Windy her first ever Kidrobot Dunny in the process may of unlocked her addiction that Windy has today. Windy’s collection of vinyl stands proud with her Squid Girl addiction.
Here’s a few of my fav Windy photos.

I was using a Nikon D3200 , but bought a Sony A6300 back in March and have been using that one since. A6300 is the preferred choice right now.
Not just those but anything by Kathie , all the RALFS , anything Fluffy House , and most by Scott TollesonKookie No Good being my favorite hehe
This is only a dip in the water for Windy photography, It wouldn’t be fair to show you all her photos and collection so please check out Windy via her own Windy’s Toy Box Facebook Page , Twitter and Instagram.
