How long as it been since we’ve seen a release from Okedoki? it’s definitely been far too long in our option. Like they say all good things happen to those who wait. Okedoki has published a few WIP figures and one of them is this Gong Gong and Baby. From these prototype photos it looks like it was defiantly worth the wait. “Gong Gong and Baby” hits home as in Asian tradition respecting elders and taking care of the elders is a priority, through thick and thin.
We’re not sure what Okedoki really interpretation of the art is but that’s our thoughts and story. With or without the story we love the silhouette and the smoothness of the figures. Not very often we see poses like Gong Gong and Baby which gives a breath of fresh air. We’re sure it has a wonderful background story to go with but for now we can sit back and wait for more news about these wonderful figures.
It has been a busy 2016. There are many projects to be released in the last quarter of 2016, along with early 2017.
