Once again a prime example why we highly rate the Swedish artist Emelie Jensen AKA Tomodachi Island. Emelie has created these Tweedle-Hoot figures with the help of James Young, the model maker for 15 years at Aardman Animations, who’s behind the making of Shawn the Sheep and Wallace and Gromit,Timmy Time and Creature Comforts. Clearly another winning design from Emilie which is a little similar to a drawing she’s done in the past “KAWAII – PEEK-A-BUNNY” which we actually own.
We really love the design already and cannot wait for them to be blessed with some paint. We think it will do well as an open platform for other artists to have a fiddle with the TWEEDLE-HOOT. Hopefully some blank DIY will be available too.
Not much more information is released but we are super excited about this resin release. With a James Young collaboration it was always going to be a winner. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about the release.
