Alto T-Con custom.

Aside from our main round up (coming soon) from the T-Con custom show in London last night, I felt the need to give this piece it’s own post.

I will admit that when I first saw “A Ghost Is Born” on the preview list I wasn’t keen and didn’t get it, on it’s only it just looks like some sticks randomly glued together but when on display with the other T-Cons at the show, I started to understand!

So we caught up with Alto AKA Chris Dobson to find out how the piece came about and where the idea came from.
“I wanted to push the limits of what might actually constitute a custom. For some time now, I have been racking my brains as to how best convert my wireframe print designs into three dimensional form and I hope that this represents a successful translation — the seeming chaos of the mesh of rods revealing the ghostly form of the fantastic show mascot”
